Updated: Oct 12, 2022

Greetings Jump Adventurers!

We are happy to announce that we have received our compliance certificate from Capstone Inspections LTD, Europe’s leading Inaugural Inspection body for over 10 years. Jump is the first in Africa to receive such a certification! The milestone is in line with our core values of ensuring the highest safety standards.

Process of Inspection

What is EN 15567?

Created in 2007, this is a European standard that governs the safe construction of rope courses. The evaluation is not a legal requirement, but it is a reference point for safety in case of an incident.

Divided into two parts EN 15567-1:2015 and EN 15567-2:2015. Part one looks at the structural bit of the rope courses; our activities and part two looks at the procedural aspect of the company e.g. staff training.

FUN FACT: Paul Capper( the director of Capstone) Inspections Ltd, is an inaugural and annual inspector). He helped write the EN and represents the UK on the European Standardization Committee:15567 and the UK Ropes Course Guide, Parts I and II.

The inspection by Capestone is in-depth ensuring that our standards and procedures are internationally recognized. Our inaugural inspection happened on 27th November 2021. Following this, the inspection will be held every year around the same time.
