Reports to:              Site manager

Location:                 Based at The Hub

Hours:       09:00 – 18:00, 6 days per week (off-day on rotation)

Package:                 Sales Commission based

Remit & Responsibilities

To implement Flying Fox’s sales strategy, achieve projected ticket sales, and enhance and promote the brand.



1.    Conduct sales calls – by telephone and in person – on travel agencies, corporations, schools, and embassies, to garner new business and repeat business

2.   Collate customer contact databases and follow up


What we’ll provide to help you:


  • Designs for collaterals and promotional materials

  • Ongoing website upgrade specifications

  • Database of corporates & repeat customers

  • Fuel/toll expenses

  • Presentations and corporate videos



Eligibility & requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate in sales sales-related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales role

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

  • Strong oral communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment

  • Fluent in English and Swahili


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in travel trade

  • An active interest in outdoor activities and/or travel


Contract and future career path

  • Contract is for 12 months, renewable by mutual consent

  • Opportunity to develop this role into a managerial position subject to performance
